A to the NU to the b-i-s!
i'm backkkkkkkk. FOC was fun! please eh, not free-of-charge. it's freshmen orientation camp! hahaha. who's your daddy? Anubis! who's your mommy? Anubis! we, will kick your ass we, will kick your ass we, will kick your ass kick kick kick kick! haha. okay, i'm from Anubis, subgroup - bzzzzzzzz bumblebees. the theme was Egypt. only 3 yuhua people came; me (duh), dida and fazrul. and the funny thing is, we were all in the same group but different subgroup ah. hahaha. i don't know if others exyuhuans came, i only saw us. tsk! okay let me reaaaaally update.
first day 24/03;
it rained in the morning. i was just about to go out when it got heavier. thanks to thirdsis for giving me a ride there. hehe. reached NP, everyone wasn't hyped up, and when the GLs cheered, everybody was -huh? zzzz. with blank faces. but it got even better a few MINS later, after we all registered and split to our groups. there were - Amun, Anubis (the best ah!!! hahaha), Horus and Osiris. day one is mostly ice-breaking games. got into our subgroups, and bonded quite well after the activities. i was in bumblebees bzzzzz ouch you've got stung! so sad.. hahaha. made many new friends. (: i couldn't remember what we did in the afternoon. ohyah we were blind-folded, and they partnered us with the different subgroups. and we only found out back at the hall - that was our dance partner for the mass dance. yah, we were taught to dance. haha. about 10+pm, Anubis went to lecture theatre. watched Coming Soon, and omg the sudden appearance of the ghost is stupidshitscrary okay. finished the movie about 12+, was about to watch another movie but one of my group leaders (GLs) came right in front of my face, and asked me to come with him. got out and saw other 3 people, and we were told to start our nightwalk. great. -.- it was okay, just walked straight and the scariest, that got me screaming was the one when we were walking up the stairs, like we couldn't see who's upstairs.. suddenly a leader who was wearing The Scream mask came out suddenly. we didn't expect anything okay! then went inside a toilet, where every cubicle there's "ghosts". my partner managed to get me ready but telling me which places he predicted the leaders will be there. hahaha so, wasn't that scared. only the Scream part ah!!! we waited for others to return from the nightwalk at another lecture theatre. it was already 1 going to 2am. waited and waited and waited, till everyone got sleepy. finally at 4am, we were all ready to go back to the sports hall and.. SLEEP! everyone was walking like a zombie. sleepy like hell.
second day 25/03;
full of activities. this one station, have to pick one male and one female representatives. they got me to go. -.-! they need to dress me up using thrash bags, newspapers and scotchtape as a boy, and have to wear all that till the end of the day! just imagine. their main focus was to make me my own newspaper balls & birdy. every station the boys in my group ask me, "hows my little brother?" -.- it feels weird anyway, like something dangling.... k nvm. and the guy need to dress up as a girl. he wore thrash bag dress, filled with newspaper boobs. haha! blahblahblah, and then we were made to dance again. first was like the classical dance, then a lil' hiphop liddat. haha. the songs were - mic check 1 2, tide is high, just dance, jai ho. hahaha. they fed us well for sure.. never got hungry. haha. at night we had amazing race. wahhhhh that one i tell you, tiring! just picture the hills in NP in your mind, we were from one end, then have to run to one end and take a picture. and then.. repeat. thirdsis called me when we were half the way thru as i asked to be booked out on that night, but will come back the next morning. so i just had half of their runnings on that night! hehe! didn't expect thirdsis to come that fast. she got disturbed by something. she went to the toilet alone at one of the blocks. haiyoh! she was in a cubicle when something banged beside her. there was totally no one inside. she thought her boyfriend was the one who played tricks on her, sedangkan he's outside what! haha. when i came back with my bags, and she told me.. i was like -huh??????? you go to the toilet alone???? haiz. that was my reaction lah after i heard stories from the seniors.. NP being haunted and all. now she's having a fever! haha.
third day 26/03;
came back with dida at about 9am. saw them on the way to canteen 1 for breakfast.. joined my group. after that was water activities. we played waterbombs. someone from each main group have to be wrapped with tissue paper (like a mummy liddat ah...) and we have to destroy the other groups' mummies using waterbombs. then we proceeded to the swimming pool, only some of us got to play due to shortage of time. then bathe. after that if i'm not wrong, dance ah? forgot. after which was getting ready for campfire. eventho we have no fire despite having a campfire, it was fun. the GLs of each main group performed a short skit. each of the ending, they have a special something for their group. for Anubis, the GLs sang guardian angel for us, with one in front doing the actions all. hahaha was so sweet. (: after waiting for quite some time at another place, the Hot Night has began! yah. hot night. a place where all the disco lights are turned on, and music blasting soooooooooooooo loud, completed with all the smoke. easy said lah, the atmosphere was a like a club. i thought we were going to do our mass dance there but i was wrong.. everyone was dancing like crazy. hahaha. me and dida got out after an hour for certain reasons, and one girl from Osiris approached us. i seriously thought she was one of the crew but no. made friends, she told us she wanted to go out bcs some guy from her group touched her butt and act like nothing happened. haha!! she's a malay lah. nice talking to her for like 30 mins. went down and had some refreshments. me and dida were at the benches for most of the time. around 2+am, got back to the sports hall and sat with our groups and talk. i got zzzzsleepy, went to the sports hall (which is our accommodation for the nights (boys & girls are separated by a row of benches.. hahaha). saw dida then we seriously talked crap since we were both half-dead. funny!! we didn't want to sleep because the crew wanted to sabo all who are sleeping. like scotchtaped two sleeping bags together, write on their hands and legs using permanent markers. hahaha. talked on the phone with fiza at about 5am going to 6, and finally i couldn't take it any longer.. slept for 1 hour. hahaha.
last day 27/03;
was sleepy! my eyes were really obviously half-opened. after breakfast most heads were on the tables. hahaha. after that walked back to sports hall and waited our turn for picture-taking. took like almost 2 hours to be done! meanwhile, we did our power cheer. after every group had taken their pictures, had our last mass dance together then proceeded to lecture theatre. watched a video of what we did for the last four days.. funny "blind-dating" moments. the last part was they will be there for us blah3... then lastly, CREW IS STILL COOL! hahaha. then a crew played the guitar, we all sang - you & me, always be my baby, don't go and some more songs - together. all the GLs cried in front.. aww. sad moment.. ): then back to sports hall to take our things. gathered at our respective groups, and did our power cheer for the last time. ): after that we hugged every GLs in Anubis and home sweet home. (:
got back home. i was really damn tired. slept straightaway and only woke up the next morning. hahaha. exhausted. but i'm wide awake now. haha! since i have to work. -.- also full day tomorrow! i hope fiza will really come tomorrow. ): okay enuff of this. overall, i had fun, made new friends and looking forward to start schooling at ngee ann. hope my groupmate will upload pics at facebook soon. i wonder if you know how anubis still the show, if you see it and you know it and you know you have to go.. rock on Anubis.... peace peace peace! hehehe bye everybody. remember to switch off your lights from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, people. i can't because you don't expect clementi cc to turn the lights off, don't you? i will be alone in the darkness and scared out of my wits if they do.
